• Class schedules to fit your life -- Complete your education in just 10 months by attending classes two or three days per week. Our 10-month Accelerated program requires no evenings and no weekends. Or, for our students with full-time jobs, attend classes two evenings per week and some weekends. Our Evening/Weekend program allows you to complete your training in 18 months.

Diploma Programs

600-Hour Massage Therapy Program

MTTI’s 600-hour Massage Therapy Program is designed to provide a solid and comprehensive foundation in bodywork theory, technique and business practices. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam and for licensing in Missouri and most other states and municipalities.

The most unique feature of the MTTI 600-hour program is the incorporation of a basic wellness curriculum. Practitioners increasingly find that clients are craving direct and honest guidance about how to maintain a natural wellness lifestyle. Our program prepares practitioners to provide this guidance with the inclusion of classes on stress management, nutrition and communication skills.

By attending class two evenings a week and some weekends, a student can complete the program in 18 months. Or, by enrolling in our accelerated program, which meets two or three days a week (no evenings or weekends), students can complete the program in just 10 months.

Some courses included in the Massage Therapy Program are Basic Swedish Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Chinese Meridian Massage, Communication Skills, Neuromuscular Therapies, Kinetic Anatomy, Sports Massage, Foot Massage/Reflexology, Nutrition, Stress Management, Pathology, Massage for Older Adults, Creating a Successful Practice, Clinical Internships and a wide range of other complementary therapies.

350-Hour Energy Healing Program

The goal of the 350-hour Energy Healing Program is to develop practitioners who are competent and knowledgeable in contemporary as well as time-honored healing practices. A large component of the program will deal with assessment and effective engagement of the client’s energy field and the development of each student’s unique qualities as a healer.

Energy work comprises a range of dynamic and versatile modalities that work with the electro-magnetic field of the body, often referred to as the human energy field, to promote health and well-being. These many energy work modalities bring balance, clarity, strength and repair to the energetic structures, levels and functions that comprise the human energy field. Energy work directly affects a person’s physical, mental and emotional functioning and spiritual connectedness.

Energy work modalities can stand alone as independent treatment forms and can be integrated into massage therapy sessions to enhance and support the massage treatments.

300-Hour Wellness Consultant Program

This program is designed to enable its graduates to counsel clients developing a healthier lifestyle. By combining counseling skills with competency in fitness training, nutritional consulting, stress management facilitation, testing, lifestyle skills assessment skills and goal setting techniques, graduates will have a competitive edge in wellness careers.

Many of our students add the Energy Healing and/or Wellness Consultant Program(s) to their Massage Therapy education.
